PSG is born out of PodShare’s model of “shared housing in expensive neighborhoods” so we knew to look to West LA.
12467 W. Washington Blvd. was owned and operated by a structural engineer who was ready to retire. This building was always used as an office, on a retail block.
The planning code allows supportive housing in this CG zone.
This commercial zone would allow for short term (rapid re-housing) stays by referral. It surrounding businesses provide job opportunities without the need for a vehicle.
PSG hired housing advocate architect Ralph Mechur to draw up the plans for submittal.
