Our Pods sleep 4x more people than a shared bedroom

We’re building supportive housing in Culver City

Podshare for Social Good (PSG) is teaming up with Downtown Women’s Center and Safe Place for Youth to assist 14 women with housing and case management

PSG is a 501c3 organization founded by Elvina Beck. Elvina has over a decade of experience in permitting, building and operating shared housing across California. Her model has been used as a home by trusted organizations such as HOPICS, HousingWorks, HoFCo, SPY, and is on the LA County interim housing database.

In 2021, Pepperdine Law Clinic helped with the filing of non profit status for PSG in order to build and operate supportive housing projects. PSG’s first project will be in Culver City at 12467 W. Washington Blvd to serve women. The program will be developed by a small group of experienced leaders and implemented by case workers from HOPICS and SPY. This housing project will be funded by the Deborah Groening-Rother Foundation.

Our methodology is to immediately provide housing, support and safety to women experiencing homelessness. Our measure of success will be to empower each woman to graduate from our program into traditional housing and work. We have hired a case worker with case management experience from SPY to manage our site.

With private funding and non-profit advisors, PSG has the opportunity to pilot a supportive housing project with life-changing results.
